The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a good option if you're looking to buy an affordable mop and robot vacuum. It has a great mopping capabilities, but is lacking some of the advanced features that are found in its more expensive sibling.

During tests it was able to remove pet hair and dry oats out of carpets with a medium-pile. It doesn't use LIDAR, however, as cheaper models do, to locate your home.

iRobot Roomba s9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top robot vacuums. It has impressive cleaning power and a variety of features such as an automatic dirt bin built into its charging base. This robot can recognize your habits of cleaning, and suggest automated schedules that will give you the ultimate hands-free cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automatic cleaning functions at the push of one button. You can select an overall clean that emphasizes getting rid of larger pieces of debris such as rice and cereal or go for two thorough mappings of your area to ensure that your entire home has a clean and tidy appearance.

This robot vacuum is effective on floors that are unfinished and carpets with low pile. It can remove pet hair and sucks large items up. It doesn't lose its suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It's not able to work with plush or high-pile carpets however, iRobot claims that future models will be more efficient.

The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that focuses on enhancing the edge and corner cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that has a flat-fronted D-shaped design. The company hopes that this will allow it to fit into walls and furniture. It's a step up from the hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are common however we found it to be only marginally superior to circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also comes with a superior filtration system which blocks tiny particles and allergens from circulating in your home. We think it's a nice claim but not enough to justify a premium price.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors that keep track of your home's layout, and vSLAM technology for mapping the interior. This allows it to stay clear of obstacles like stairs and other barriers, and to clean up your whole home efficiently possible. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and schedule cleaning times, and establish virtual boundary markers, so it can recognize areas that require more attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robot that is a combination of mopping and Best Robot Vacuum and Mop vacuuming. Its vacuum settings are as good as those found on more expensive models. The mopping system is superior as its spinning pads clean your floors more efficiently than a vibrating pad.

It's only downside is the absence of a second brush to allow for more thorough cleaning. However, that's not a problem when you're looking to purchase one of the top robots on the market. The dust tank of the robo-vac is larger than many of its competitors, Best Robot Vacuum and Mop and filling it takes just two or three times, even when you've got a lot of dirt.

In terms of the mopping system, I was impressed by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. Its two mopping modes at the lowest that are less abrasive than the more powerful ones, create minimal noise, allowing you to work or even watch TV without distraction. If it encounters a wall or piece of furniture, it gently bumps into it and then moves on.

What really distinguishes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to function almost completely autonomously, requiring only a little for user intervention. The robo-vac comes with a multi-function dock that automatically moves physical trash into the hidden bin and washes and drys mop pads and replenishes its clean water tank. The app is adept at nagging you only when something requires attention, like the clean water tank running low or a scheduled cleaning session that was cancelled due to a stuffed dust bin.

You can also create and merge actual rooms to customize how the Q Revo treats your abode. This feature is helpful when you have different flooring in different areas of your home, or in the event that you have to regularly get rid of clutter like clothes, toys, and books. The robo-vac was also one of the best buy robot vacuum performers in my test cleaning up debris from carpets as well as hardwood floors on the first pass. It is able to even vacuum up wet spills, though I recommend drying them with a damp cloth prior to sending the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and robotic shark vacuum combo with all the features you could want. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+, it has an excellent vacuum that has a powerful suction to clean hard and carpet floors, as well as an omni-rotating mop that scrubs tough stains. The most significant improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that it has a sleeker, more modern design, thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best robot vacuum and mop known for its Bang & Olufsen products). The robot is still large--it has a height of more than two feet height and depth and weighs nearly four pounds. However the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.

This version is more efficient than the X1 because it charges more quickly and cleans 1,500 square feet in a single charge. It also has a bigger dustbin that is more durable and can hold more debris which makes it easier to empty it when needed.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant as well as an app that works even when you're at home. It also comes with an intelligent routing feature that lets it clean specific areas or rooms of your home instead of following a predetermined route.

The X2 Omni is the top mopping robot. Its rotating mop pads remove tough stains and its motor produces lots of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding as well and it increases suction when it detects carpet to ensure it does a thorough job. It also has a massive battery that can last for several weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as powerful as anything we've seen in a consumer-grade robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a high-end robot vacuum and mop that comes with a variety of convenience features you aren't likely to find on robots in this price. It is able to build detailed floor maps, identify different flooring types and is one of the few robots that automatically wash and dry its mop pads. But while these functions are great but they also make the L10s Ultra more in the luxury category and could mean it's somewhat more expensive than the average homeowner require.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It's slim and tall, with a white finish, accentuated by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by an enormous bumper, which protects furniture and vacuum cleaners from damage when moving through the home. Sensors are hidden behind the front pane, which help the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum mop robot cleaner there is a single button which serves as an on/off switch. This button will turn on the vacuum. By pressing it again, you can turn it off and transmit it to its base station. The circular menu located in the middle of the control panel allows you to select cleaning modes as well as schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons on the screen will open the app's settings menu where you can tweak the way that the L10s Ultra integrates with your home.

Like the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation techniques to map out your house. The L10s Ultra is a powerful vacuum cleaner, which removes 98.4 percent of debris from our test on hardwood floors and taking out all but stubborn juice staining. Its mops are efficient, removing 98.4% of debris on our wood, tile, and carpet tests. It was not as effective in removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oats from the carpet.
