The Best Stroller All Terrain Overall Stroller

If you're planning on carrying a stroller for years, it needs to do more than just transport your child from point A to point B. Strollers multiply like rabbits, and having one that is able to handle all of your family's outings makes for a smart investment.

The Nuna MIXX Next can do all that and more: It works from birth, thanks to its baby-friendly flat recline. It features a compact fold for easy storage and rolls effortlessly over grass, sidewalks and cobblestone. It's also available as an assortment with the light PIPA urbn car seat, to complete the travel system. The price is higher than our other choices, however our test subject said it was worth it because it's sturdy and able to handle even the most strenuous outings.

For a light stroller that can also handle some rugged terrain, look for three-wheelers. The Thule Shine was a previous winner of this category. It's more expensive than our other options, but it feels solid and has plenty of features (car seat compatibility! dual cup holders!) which makes it a worthwhile investment. It can also be folded to fit in the overhead bin of an airplane which makes it a great option for families who travel frequently.

She along with our product testing team run, push the strollers, fold and lift each stroller to evaluate its performance, comfort and functionality. They're all moms, too, so they know the importance of a high-quality stroller is for daily life as well as for family outings. The BOB Sport Utility

The BOB Sport utility is a great stroller to use if you want to get off the beaten path and exercise. This jogging stroller features pneumatic knobby tires that are perfect for trail runs, and hand brakes that let you manage the downhills. It also features a state-of the-art suspension system, a two-step folding design, and an enormous cargo basket. You can even use it with a baby car seat when you purchase the appropriate adapters.

The biggest issue with this stroller is its weight and dimensions when folded. It weighs 25 pounds and folds to 17,850 cubic inches, which is the average for this category of strollers. The size of its footprint is not suitable for tight turns or small trunk space. It does however have small handles in the rear of the storage bin that can be pulled to collapse the stroller into a compact flat position.

The stroller is easy to maneuver despite its size. The front wheel is equipped with a locking mechanism, that allows you to change between locked and normal mode. The handlebar can be adjusted for different heights of parents. It comes with a spacious seat that can be retracted to nearly flat, and a large vinyl peekaboo window.

The Sport Utility also scored a 9/10 for its outstanding quality. It has a strong frame made of aluminum that has tight connections, smooth edges and no poor stitching. It also has adjustable dampers, that help in the smooth rolling performance.

Like the other BOB strollers we've reviewed, the Sport Utility has optional car seat adapters that allow you to use it with various infant car seats. It took us 5:24 minutes in our tests to assemble the stroller, from packing it up to getting it ready to go. It was easy enough to do, but you'll require an Philips head screwdriver for the job. The manual included is easy to follow and well-organized. However, it's recommended to keep one in your case.

The Baby Trend Expedition

Created with safety, style and user-friendliness in mind, this jogger features a parent tray with 2 cup holders, covered storage and a swing away tray for the child that includes two cup holders. The adjustable canopy, with its peek-a-boo windows and a wide ergonomically-designed handle, provides comfort for both parents. The locking front swivel can be locked to jog, but unlocked to stroll. The large storage basket can accommodate essential travel necessities.

Consumer Reports' Strollers test program shows that the Baby Trend Expedition Jogger is an excellent value for the price and scores higher than many of its competitors across various categories. This includes the ease of using the 5-point harness that folds and unfolds as well as adjusting the backrest. activating the brakes on the wheel and removing the infant car seat and installation (only for compatible models). It is designed with an easy recline with one hand, that is sufficient for sleep. The canopy cover that has ratcheting can be difficult. It also takes almost 8 minutes to install, and the instructions are confusing, with several languages mixed together and difficult-to-read illustrations.

The only negative about this jogger is that it does not have suspension, which means the ride may be bumpier than some of the other all-terrain strollers we've tried. This can cause discomfort for children, particularly if they are on the verge of napping. It does have air-filled tires, but they don't have the same shock absorption like the rubber wheels that are found on more expensive strollers.

This is a great choice for those who don't run frequently but would like to easily move over grass or gravel without worrying about obstacles like curbs or other obstructions. It's an excellent choice for families with a little space, since it folds up into a compact unit. It is lighter than many of the other strollers we have tested and can be tucked away in places that larger strollers can't.

Another advantage is that it is easier to carry and lift than the heavier joggers we've tried. This is crucial when you have to lift it into and out of your car trunk regularly or if you are always on the move.

The Nipper Sport V4

Nipper Sport V4 is the best jogger on all terrain. The new version of Out 'n' About's three-wheeled running stroller is specifically designed for jogging. It features large pneumatic 16'' alloy tyres that can tackle even the most challenging tracks and paths. The Nipper is also light and compact, making it simple to fold and carry.

This pushchair comes with an adjustable handlebar and front suspension, making it ideal for all types of terrain. It also has a recline seat that can be adjusted in multiple positions and a an adjustable quilted seat liner and a five-point safety harness and hinged bumper bar. It's also travel system-compatible that allows you to use it with the Cybex Maxi-Cosi, Maxi-Cosi, or Be-Safe infant car seats.

This buggy also has a large front wheel which assists in providing an enjoyable ride for the child. This is important, especially when you're tackling challenging terrain. It lets the buggy to track better and glide better over bumps and dips. Nipper Sport is easy to drive and has one pedal brake. The handlebar features an ergonomic design and a single pedal easy-lock brake that can be adjusted to suit your needs. The buggy is easy to fold and has clear step-by-step directions and photos in the user's manual.

The Nipper Sport is designed for children aged from 6 to months. It can also be used with a baby because of the built-in insert. However, it's not recommended for use with infants under six months because the harness of the seat isn't secure enough to ensure their safety.

Another issue with this pushchair is the lack of a storage basket underneath the seat. The small shopping bag that is located at the back of seat isn't large enough to accommodate a larger changing pouch. It is, however, very simple to unfold and close, with only two hand-holds needed to release the plastic catches that are on either side of the lower frame. There is a third lock catch on the red handlebar, which can be released with just one hand, making it extremely convenient to use.
