If you're looking to save money and don't require a stroller that can double into a car seat carrier The Babyzen Yoyo is a good choice. It has a flip-flop friendly one-step footbrake.

It's easy to push and it feels solid when navigating kerbs and woodland paths. It's also easy to fold.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned itself a reputation as the ultimate stroller that is lightweight, suitable for city dwellers as well for jet-setters. This is due to its nimble maneuverability and fold-down design that can be incorporated into the overhead luggage of an aeroplane. The latest version has independent suspension on all 4 wheels comprised of Hytrel elastomer, allowing it to effortlessly navigate all terrains and types'.

The bent fabric bassinet, the base YOYO2 and the 6+ months colour pack combine to create a sleek pushchair that has a soft elegant look. The base frame weighs less than a kilogram and is so lightweight that you can lift it out of the box using just one hand.

It's also easy to attach or remove adaptors or attachments like the hood for instance, snaps on to the YOYO2 by clicking - as well as being machine washable to prevent staining from rice cakes smushed and half-dissolved carrot puffs. The Newborn Pack and bassinet can be used from birth as a pram. It can also be converted to a stroller by 6 months by using the YOYO connect to additional chassis.

2. Evenflo Pivot Xplore

Evenflo Pivot Xplore stroller wagon is a great option for parents who are looking for a stroller that is versatile. The Evenflo Pivot Xplore can be transformed from a stroller into a wagon by simply flipping the handle. Parents can then decide the best mode for their adventure. The wagon can accommodate one or two kids from 6 months up to 5 years, and pushchairsandprams it comes with a large storage basket that can accommodate everything you need on the go.

The Xplore has dual canopies which are able to rotate from front to back, ensuring adequate sun protection for the entire family. It also has a footwell, which is not as large or deep as some wagons, so it may not be ideal for longer trips or napping.

The frame of the Xplore feels solid and sturdy however it doesn't have as much flexibility as other wagons we tested. It is also more difficult to fold than some of the competition and does not secure when folded. It is easy to move however, and is able to fit through narrow 28 inches doors.

3. Delta Children LX Side by Side

This Delta Children bare-bones travel stroller is a great choice for parents looking for a second stroller that's priced reasonably. It earned an eye-catching score in our Strollers and Multiples test for weight and folded size, which means it's very lightweight, small when collapsed and easy to lift into a car trunk or closet. It also offers a multi-position reclining seat and a parent cup holder. Other important features include two large storage bags that hang from the ceiling and 360-degree front wheels that absorb shock.

It did better in our push and turn test than a lot of the other strollers we tested, but it is nonetheless difficult to maneuver on uneven terrain or through narrow doors. The sunshades are among the most compact we tested, with only a direct overhead coverage and no peekaboo windows. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 and Zoe Twin+ have significantly larger canopy sizes.

The Delta took us just over three minutes to put together with an average manual and all of the components required tools. It's missing certain features we consider essential in a double stroller. This includes an extra-large basket, reclining seats, and adjustable leg rests.

4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1

The Zelia is Maxi-Cosi's latest pushchair, and is advertised as an urban travel system. It can be used from birth until around 3.5-years-old. The seat and carrycot can be easily converted in just a few clicks. It can be used with Maxi Cosi capsule car seats. It includes a light Mico 30 infant seat, a stay-in-car-base and a reversible car seat.

The seat reclines with one hand, and the large shopping basket makes it easy for parents to get their child in and out. Although it is a narrow pushchair it handled the everyday bumps with ease and was able to pass through doorways without any fuss.

The front wheels can be locked in a forward position or allow them to swivel which is helpful when traversing rough terrain. When we walked on the stony path, we allowed them to swivel and it did this quite well, though it did appear a little bumpier than others in our test.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2,

Baby Jogger is best known for its 3-wheeled all-terrain, strollers that jog. However, they also manufacture a vast variety of pushchairs that have four wheels. The City Tour 2 is one of their most loved models. It is easy to use and folds small enough to fit in a car boot even with the carrycot attached.

It's a bit heavier than the other strollers we test, but the wheels are rubber composite so it feels well-made and durable. It's a breeze to maneuver across all types of terrain and it's easy to carry, even when loaded with two kids and a shopping bag.

Both the seat and carrycot have hoods that can be removed to reveal the UV50+ sun canopy extension. They are showerproof and sturdy, unlike some other prams' hoods that get turned back into toddlers' faces.

It doesn't have a lot of storage space, but it comes with an ample basket that is deep enough to accommodate a changing bag or plenty of food. It can also be linked with a Baby Jogger infant car seat to create a traveling system for babies as big as 20 lb (car seat and adapters sold separately). If you require a stroller that can be taken on the road, the City Tour 2 is an excellent choice.

6. Nuna Mixx Next

When the Nuna Mixx first came onto the scene it stole the hearts of parents all over the world. It's an aluminum-framed stroller which can be used from infant's earliest days through. It has a number of distinctive features like the ability to flip the seat between parent and world-facing, a large UPF 50+ canopy that has an eye shade that flips out as well as a large basket and adjustable handlebar.

The chassis has an integrated suspension system which reduces the impact of bumpy terrain. The wheels are constructed of tough foam and reduce punctures. Our tester found it smooth to push and was able to maneuver it through narrow streets with ease.

It folds automatically and locks in just four steps. It can also be folded and repositioned for easy transportation down the stairs or in the trunk of the car. The travel system is included with the option to add an additional car seat or carrycot by using the adaptors that are included. The brakes have one action and are colour coded. They also can be used with flip-flops.

7. Babyzen Duet

This budget-friendly pushchair is simple to operate and features an excellent dual suspension. It folds by one hand and comes with a convenient carrying strap. It's also very light and robust. The seat can be reclined into many different positions. It also comes with a double breathable mattress that is suitable for infants.

The canopy/seat comes with two large fixed or flip-out sun visors, both of which are UPF50+. The toggle closure isn't ideal as it’s not as quiet as Velcro and could awaken napping babies.

The Duet is a stroller that can be used side-by-side and can be configured to take twins or siblings (up to 22kg max per seat). It can be used with two infant car seats and some carrycots. In twin mode, the seats can be positioned to face one another or be turned around to face their parents, potentially reducing sibling fights over who should sit with mom and dad. It has a huge gear tray, bottle holder, snack trays and a change mat. It also comes with a Maxmass Folding Baby Stroller: Toddler Lightweight Grey Buggy stand that folds down and a frame lock.

8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2

The Thule Urban glide 2 is the ideal jogger for parents that like to be active. It's one of the lightest strollers you can buy for your child. It comes with amazing safety features, including five-point harnesses and a secure wrist strap. It comes with a different kind of hand brake that is different from other models that is a twist.

The seat is well-padded and has plenty of room to sit, but the seat's depth is less than other joggers we've tested (it's about 10"). The storage bin is encased with a zipper that keeps things safe. It can hold up to 10 lbs that is enough for the majority of diaper bags.

The Urban Glide 2 doesn't come with adapters for most bassinets and car seats for infants, but you can use them from the first day with adapters that fit brands like BOB, Graco Combi Evenflo Britax UPPAbaby. It folds up compactly and takes about 5-10 minutes to assemble with no tools. The manual is easy-to-understand and includes multiple languages.
