The Q Revo is a good choice if you're looking for an affordable robot vacuum and mop. It's a great mopping capability, but it lacks some of the features that are found in its more expensive counterpart.

During testing it was able to remove pet hair and dry oats out of carpets with a medium pile. It doesn't use LIDAR, however, as cheaper models do to identify your home.

1. Roomba S9+ from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top-rated robot vacuums. It has impressive cleaning power and numerous features, including the self-emptying dirt container built into its charging base. This robot can learn your cleaning habits, and suggest automatic vacuum and mop robot schedules to provide you with the ultimate hands-free cleaning experience.

Setup is easy, thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the process. Once everything is connected, you can start the automated cleaning process at the click of the button. You can choose an overall clean that emphasizes getting rid of larger pieces of debris such as rice and cereal or two thorough maps of your area to ensure that your entire home gets a proper look.

This robot vac performs well on both bare floors and carpets with low pile. It can remove pet hair and clean large objects up. It doesn't lose suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It's not able to work with carpets that are high-pile or plush, but iRobot promises that the next models will be more efficient.

The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that is focused on enhancing the edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt an open-fronted, flat-fronted design, which will allow it to be able to swaddle walls and furniture. It's an improvement over the hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are standard however we found it to be just marginally superior to circular models.

iRobot also claims the S9+ comes with an advanced filtering system that blocks tiny dust particles and allergens from recirculating within your home. It's a nice premise, however, we're not convinced that it's enough to justify the price price.

Its smart navigation system employs sensors that remember the layout of your home and vSLAM technology for mapping the interior. It can then clean your entire home efficiently by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and set virtual boundaries so that the Dyson Robot Vacuum Cleaner can determine the areas that require attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a machine that combines vacuuming and mopping. Its vacuum settings are just as effective as those found on higher-end models. Its mopping system is better because its spinning pads scrub floors more efficiently than an ordinary pad that vibrates.

The only downside is that it does not have a second rubber brush for more thorough cleaning, but that's an acceptable cost to pay for if you are looking for one of the top robots on the market. The dust tank of the robo-vac is larger than many of its competitors, and filling it takes just two or three times, even when you've got the most dirt.

In terms of the mopping system, I was amazed by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. Its two lowest mopping settings, which are less powerful than high-powered ones, create little noise, so you can work or even watch TV without being distracted. It will gently bump into furniture or walls and move on when it encounters one.

The Q Revo is unique in that it operates almost autonomously, with little user involvement. The robo-vac features a multi-function dock that automatically moves physical garbage into the bin hidden from view, as well as cleans and drys the mop pads, and refills its clean water tank. The app is capable of notifying you when something requires attention, like the water tank being empty or a scheduled cleaning session being cancelled due to a stuffed dust bin.

You can also design and merge rooms to modify the way that Q Revo treats your abode. This feature is helpful if you have different flooring in different areas of your house or when you have to frequently clear out clutter such as clothes, toys and books. The robot vacuum was also among the best performers in my tests cleaning up debris from carpets as well as hardwood floors with the first go. It can vacuum up even wet spills. I recommend drying them with a towel before sending it into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum combo that comes with all the features you can need. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+, it has an excellent vacuum that has a powerful suction to clean hard and carpet floors, and the mop's rotating design that can scrub tough stains. It also has an auto-cleaning base station that automatically empties and washes the mop pads, keeping them germ-free and ready for use again. It also has a sensor that recognizes obstacles better, allowing it to avoid falling on furniture and other objects.

The most notable improvement over the ECOVACS The X1 Deebot is the modern, sleeker design. This is due to Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. While still quite massive--it's nearly two feet high and deep and weighs almost four pounds--the entire robot and its base are much less bulky than the Roborock Q Revo or irobot robot vacuum j7.

This model is also more efficient than the X1, as it charges faster and dyson robot vacuum Cleaner can complete a cleaning of about 1,500 square feet with just one charge. It also comes with a larger and more robust dustbin that can store more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

Finally, the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app as well as an assistant voice that works offline, which means you can control it even when you're not home. It also has a smart routing feature that lets it clean specific areas or rooms of your home instead of following a predetermined path.

The X2 Omni is the top mopping robot. Its rotating mop pads scrub away tough stains, and its motor creates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding as well and it increases suction when it senses carpets to ensure that it does a thorough job. It also has a large battery that can last for weeks between charges, and its mopping mode is as effective as anything we've seen in a consumer-grade robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a premium model that comes with a variety of convenience features not often found on robots in this price range. It can build detailed floor maps, detect various flooring types and is among the few robots that automatically wash and dry its mop pads. Although these features are nice to have however, they also make the L10s Ultra more in the category of luxury, which might make it somewhat more expensive than some homeowners require.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It's slim and tall, with a white finish that is complemented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by a huge bumper, which protects furniture and the vacuum from damage when moving around the home. In the pane in the front is an additional navigation technology with sensors that aid the L10s Ultra maneuver tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, you'll find one button that basically acts as an on/off switch. Clicking this will turn on the vacuum, and pressing it again will turn off the vacuum mop cleaner robot and return it to its base station. The circular menu located in the middle of the control panel allows you to choose cleaning modes, schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons beneath the screen will open the app's settings menu where you can modify how the L10s Ultra integrates with your home.

The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination of cameras and LIDAR technology to map out your home. This produces a precise floor plan that helps the robot vacuum and mop with ease without getting stuck in cluttered areas. The LIDAR also assists the robot vacuum detect and avoid obstacles, which is a nice feature for households with children or pets.

The L10s Ultra is an extremely powerful vacuum cleaner that removes 98.4% debris from our test on hard floors and getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice stains. Its mops are also quite efficient, taking away 98.4 percent of debris from our wood, tile, and carpet tests. However, it wasn't as effective in removing sand from the floor, or Quaker oats on carpet.
