The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a fantastic choice if you are looking for a robotic vacuum and mop that's middle-of-the-road. It's got a fantastic mopping performance but lacks some of the features of its more expensive counterpart.

In the course of testing, it was able to tackle dry oats and dust on carpets with medium piles as well as pet hair on hard flooring. But, unlike cheaper models, it doesn't employ LIDAR to help you map your home.

iRobot Roomba s9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is among the most highly-rated robots. This robot vacuum is effective on floors that are unfinished and carpets with low pile. It can take in large objects and doesn't lose suction as rapidly as some other models and can remove pet hair without difficulty. It has a difficult time with high-pile or plush carpet, however iRobot says it will improve with future models.

The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that focuses on improving corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt an open-fronted, flat-fronted design, which it hopes will allow it to be able to swaddle walls and furniture. It's a nice improvement over the traditional hockey puck shape of robovacs, but we discovered it to be only incrementally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims that the S9+ has a superior filtering system that stops microscopic dust particles and allergens from recirculating in your home. It's a nice claim however, we're not convinced it's enough to justify the price price.

Its smart navigation system uses sensors to keep track of the layout of your home and vSLAM to map the interior. This allows it to steer clear of obstacles, such as stairs and other barriers, and to clean up your entire house efficiently possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and also set virtual boundary markers to ensure that the tesvor robot vacuum is aware of what areas require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it comes to robots that combine mopping and vacuuming the Roborock Q Revo is a standout. Its vacuum settings are as effective as those on more expensive models and its mopping feature is superior, as its spinning pads do a much better job of scrubbing floors than a stationary vibrating pad.

The only issue is the lack of a second brush for more thorough cleaning. However, that's not a problem if you want to own one of the top robots available. The robo-vac's dust tank also bigger than those on many of its competitors, and it takes just two or three cycles to fill it, even with the highest dirt level.

As for the mopping device, I was impressed with its ability to scrub hard-to-clean dirt from my floors. Its two lowest mopping settings which are less powerful than high-powered settings, produce little noise, so you can work or even watch television without being distracted. It will gently bump into furniture or walls and then move away if it comes across one.

What really makes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to function almost completely autonomously, robot vacuum requiring only a little for human intervention. The robo-vac comes with a multi-function dock that automatically transfers physical trash into the hidden bin and washes and drys the mop pads and refills its clean water tank. The app will only inform you if something is wrong for example, a low clean water tank or a vacuuming session that is cancelled due to an empty bin.

You can also create or combine actual rooms to customize the way that Q Revo manages your home. This is an excellent feature to have if you have several areas of your home with different flooring materials or if there's clutter that needs to be cleared out frequently, such as clothes, toys, and books. The robo-vac is also very efficient and was among the top performers in my tests, removing dirt from carpets and hardwoods on the first pass. It can also remove wet spills however I would recommend wiping them dry with a cloth before sending the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a top-quality robot vacuum and mop and more. It has an omni-rotating mop as well as a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. It's similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also comes with an auto-cleaning base station that automatically cleans and empty the mop pads, ensuring that they remain them free of germs and ready to use again. It also comes with a brand new sensor system that better detects obstacles, giving it the ability to avoid falling over furniture and other objects.

The most significant improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that it has a sleeker, more modern design, thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best robot vacuum for pet hair known for its Bang & Olufsen products). The robot is still quite large. It is more than two feet in height and depth and weighs almost four pounds. However the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.

This model is more efficient than the X1 as it charges faster and cleans 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also has a bigger, more durable dustbin to hold more debris and is easier to empty it when needed.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant as well as an app that is functional even when you're at home. It also comes with a smart routing function that lets it clean specific areas or rooms of your home, instead of following a predetermined path.

The X2 Omni is the top robot at mopping. Its mop pads that rotate clean tough stains and its motor creates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding too, and it boosts suction when it senses carpet to ensure it does a thorough job. It is equipped with a large rechargeable battery that lasts up to one week. The mopping mode of the robot is also powerful.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a top-quality robot vacuum and mop that comes with a variety of convenience features that you don't often see on robots of this price. It has the ability to create detailed floor maps, detect various flooring types and is one of the few that can automatically wash and dry its mop pads. These are nice features, but they also place the L10s in the class of luxury. This could make it more expensive than homeowners need.

It is designed to look like a contemporary floor cleaner designed to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device that has an elegant white finish that's enhanced by mirror-plated silver elements. The front of the machine features a large bumper that protects the furniture and vacuum cleaner as you move around your home. Behind the pane at the front is a second navigation technology with sensors that help the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the screen, you'll find a single button that essentially acts as an on/off switch. This button will activate the vacuum. If you click it again, it will turn it off and transmit it back to its base station. The circular menu in the middle of the control panel allows you to select cleaning modes, schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons allow you to access the settings in the app, where you can alter the way the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

The L10s shark ai ultra robot vacuum, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination of cameras and LIDAR technology to map out your home. This allows the robot to mop and vacuum efficiently without getting stuck. The LIDAR also helps the robot vacuum recognize and avoid obstacles which is a great feature for households with pets or children.

The L10s Ultra is a powerful vacuum cleaner that removes 98.4 percent of the debris we test on hard floors, and removing all but stubborn juice stains. Its mops are also quite efficient, removing 98.4 percent of the debris that was found on our wood, tile and carpet tests. However, it wasn't as efficient in dealing with sand on the hard floor and the quaker oats that are on carpet.
