Angela Cretu

As the new head of Avon is Angela Cretu, a veteran of Avon and its leadership team. With over 20 years of experience as the head of a renowned beauty brand, Cretu is poised to be the leader of the company's global operations and the company's innovation.

Acosta is among the most senior executives at Avon. He joined Avon in 2011 as Senior Vice President and President Latin America and was recently named Chief Marketing and Social Selling Officer. This position is directly under the supervision of Charles Herington, the Company's Executive Chairman.

Before joining Avon He spent a few years working at Unilever. He has extensive experience creating consumer-focused businesses and setting up them in emerging markets. He is also an investor and member of the board of directors at RoC Skincare New York.

He is the Chief Marketing and Social Selling Officer at Avon. In the meantime, he has led the development of a brand new approach to social selling that is digital.

Fernando Acosta started his career as a management trainee at Unilever. He has worked in Europe and the United Kingdom. Later, he held high-ranking posts within Unilever's Latin American operations.

He was the Category President for Avon Leadership Team Latin America at Unilever from 1999 to 2004. He was responsible for overseeing Dove, one of the most well-known brands within the company. He also was involved in the Dove Campaign for Real Beauty which introduced innovative products such as Pro Age.

After his time as a senior vice president for Unilever's Middle Americas business, he was promoted to a more international role. He was Brand President for Dove Global at Unilever from 2006 to 2008. He was located in New York during this period.

He was previously a Regional President for Latin America at Avon. His duties included driving sales leadership uk, developing the brand's Latin American strategy, and helping to develop innovative product lines like Pro Age.
