The Q Revo is an excellent option if you're looking to buy a mid-range mop and robot vacuum. It provides a fantastic mopping experience, but it lacks the features that make up its more expensive sibling.

During testing, it was able remove pet hair and dry oats out of medium-pile carpets. However, like cheaper models, it doesn't employ LIDAR to help you map your home.

1. IRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is among the most highly-rated robots. It is a powerful cleaner and plenty of features, including an automatic dirt bin built into its charging base. The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once everything is connected, you can start the automated cleaning functions with the push of a button. You can choose an overall clean which focuses on the elimination of larger debris such as cereal and rice. You can also choose two mappings to ensure that the entire home is thoroughly cleaned.

This robot vacuum performs well on both floors that are bare and carpets with low pile. It can remove pet hair and sucks large items up. It doesn't lose suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It's a challenge with plush or high-pile carpets however iRobot claims that future models will be more efficient.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that focuses on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that has a flat-fronted D-shaped design. The company hopes this will allow it to fit into the furniture and walls. It's a step up from the hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are standard, but we found it to be only marginally superior to circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also has superior filtration, which prevents micro-sized particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. We like the statement, but not enough to justify a higher price.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors to remember the structure of your home, and vSLAM to map your interior. It can then clean your entire house efficiently by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home app lets you manage the robot and plan cleaning times, and establish virtual boundary markers, so it is aware of areas that need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

roborock robot vacuum Q Revo is a robot that combines vacuuming and mopping. Its vacuum settings are just as good as those on higher-end models. And its mopping system is better because its spinning pads scrub your floors much more effectively than an ordinary pad that vibrates.

The only drawback is the absence of a second brush for more thorough cleaning. However, it's not a big deal for those who want to own one of the best robots on the market. The robo-vac's dust tank also larger than many of its rivals and takes only two or three cycles to fill it, even with the maximum dirt level.

As for the mopping system, I was impressed by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. The two mopping modes that it has that are less aggressive than the higher-powered ones create very little noise, which allows you to work or even watch television without interruption. It will gently bump into furniture or walls, and then move away whenever it comes across one.

The Q Revo is unique in that it runs almost completely on its own, with no user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac is multifunctional and can automatically transfer garbage into a bin hidden. It also cleans and dries the clean water tank. The app is capable of notifying you when something requires attention, such as the clean water tank running low or a scheduled vacuuming session having been canceled due to a stuffed dust bin.

You can also combine or create actual rooms in order to alter the way Q Revo handles your home. This feature is useful when you have different flooring in different areas of your home or in the event that you have to regularly get rid of clutter like toys, clothes and books. The robot vacuum was also among the best performers in my tests and was able to remove debris from carpets and hardwood floors in the first go. It can even remove wet dry robot vacuum spills however I would recommend wiping them dry with a cloth before sending the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum combo with all the features you could need. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it comes with a powerful vacuum that has powerful suction that cleans carpet and hard floors, and an omni-rotating mop that scrubs tough stains. It also comes with a self-cleaning base station that automatically empty and cleans mop pads, keeping them clean and ready for use again. It also features a new sensor system that better detects obstacles, giving it the ability to avoid falling over furniture and other objects.

The biggest improvement to the ECOVACS The X1 Deebot is the sleeker, modern design. This is thanks to Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best robot vacuum for pets known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. The X2 Omni is the most effective robot at mopping. Its rotating mop pads clean tough stains and its motor creates lots of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is excellent, and it increases suction when it detects carpets to ensure thorough cleaning. It comes with a huge, rechargeable battery that lasts up to a week. The mopping mode of the robot is also powerful.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a premium robot vacuum and mop and vacuum combo robot that comes with a range of convenience features you aren't likely to find on robots at this price. It can create precise floor maps and recognize various flooring types. It's also among the few robots that can automatically clean and dry its mop pad. Although these features are useful however, they also make the L10s Ultra more in the category of luxury and could mean it's a little more expensive than some homeowners require.

It is designed to look like a contemporary floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device with an elegant white finish enhanced by mirror-plated silver elements. The front of the machine is dominated by a huge bumper, which helps protect furniture and the vacuum from damage when moving around the home. In the pane in the front is additional navigation technology that is comprised of sensors that aid the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, there's one button that is a switch for on and off. The L10s Ultra is a powerful vacuum cleaner, removing 98.4% debris from our test on hard floors, and taking out all but stubborn juice staining. Its mops also do a great job and remove 98.4 percent of the debris from our tile, carpet, Best Robot Vacuum and Mop and wood tests. However, it wasn't as great at tackling sand on the floor or quaker oats on the carpet.
