Slot missions are a great way to get gear, weapons and more. They're difficult to complete.

Concealed Weapon Slot

The concealed weapon slot allows you to bring pistols into a mission. Some players use this to achieve certain goals, especially those going for Suit Only. Some players use the extra pistol to bridge the gap. It's important to remember that in order to select the pistols in this slot, you need to click on the button to select the appropriate category, such as machine guns in the alternate slot. Major Expedition and Adept Rider are both active, making it much easier to use. This combo also adds damage from Concealed Weapon every 10 seconds so long as it is placed in.

Slot for Smuggled Items

The smuggled item slot an excellent option for allowing players to bring in tools and weapons, but it could use a better option. It's currently shaped as a pistol that makes it difficult to distinguish the smuggled item slot from other slots in the gear.

The smuggle slot is able to hold many different items, Rainbet ranging from small concussion devices to explosives that are weapon-grade. These items can be found in hidden locations around the map. They can also be found any time. The items that are smuggled are different from Agency Pickups and Hidden Stashes that conceal small objects in the scenery, and objects directly.

Mission planning is a function available in short-term missions that allow players to unlock different starting locations as well as smuggled items and gear slots ahead of their entry into the map. As players advance through challenges and unlock new Mission Mastery levels, these options for planning increase. This lets players plan the best task for every challenge.

Gear Slot

Early on in the game players will notice their gear slots rapidly become full, resulting in the common "Your Gear Slots are Full" message that prevents Max from acquiring new equipment until old items are cleared or more space is found. Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials are the solution to this problem. They provide more inventory space for completing challenges. However, since the majority of these challenges are scattered across the globe and are easily overlooked, it may take an extended time to obtain the largest amount of inventory slots available in-game.

A player's five Gear Slots can be filled with up to five different types of gear. These must be selected in the Gear Selection menu before a Break-In can begin. Each gear item (except for the Pistol), takes up one Gear Slot, while a grouping of similar items (such as Grenades in a grouping) can only use one Gear Slot.

Agency Pickups

As you advance through the Mission Mastery levels you unlock different agency pickups on the map. These locations allow you to keep items that do not fit into your slot for weapons or gear and retrieve them later.

These pick-ups can be useful if your mission requires you to pass through a frisk, or if you have a weapon with you that might otherwise raise suspicion. You can only keep one item at a time at an agency pickup location.

This DLC also adds new asset protection and security contracts to the agency. To begin these missions, simply talk to the agency receptionist and purchase armor and Slot Tournaments snacks. Then, walk to the mission marker and identify a mob upon arrival.
