The Q Revo is a great option if you're seeking a robot vacuum and mop that's priced in the middle. It's a great mopping performance but lacks some of the features found in its more expensive counterpart.

During testing it was able to take on dust and dry oats on medium-pile carpet and pet hair on hard floors. It does not use LIDAR, however, as other models do to locate your home.

1. iRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top-rated robot vacuums. It offers impressive cleaning power and numerous features, including the self-emptying dirt container built into its charging base. iRobot claims that the S9+ also comes with a superior filtration system that blocks tiny particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. It's a nice premise, but we're not convinced it's enough to justify the premium price cost.

Its smart navigation system employs sensors that keep track of your home's layout, and vSLAM technology to map your interior. It can then clean your entire house efficiently by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home app lets you manage the robot and plan cleaning times, as well as establish virtual boundary markers, so it knows to avoid areas that require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robot that is a combination of mopping and vacuuming. Its vacuum settings are as effective as those on more expensive models and its mopping system is even better. Its spinning pads do a more impressive job of cleaning your floors than a stationary vibrating pad.

As for the mopping device, I was amazed with its ability to remove the tough dirt off my floors. The two mopping settings that it has that are less powerful than the high-powered ones, create low noise, which means you can work or even watch television without being distracted. It will gently bump into furniture or walls, and then move on when it encounters one.

The Q Revo is unique in that it runs almost autonomously, with little user involvement. The robo-vac has a multifunction dock that automatically moves physical trash into the hidden bin and also cleans and drys the mop pads, and refills its clean water tank. The app will only notify you when something is not right for example, the water tank being empty or a canceled vacuuming session due to the bin being full.

You can also create or combine actual rooms in order to personalize the way Q Revo manages your home. That's a handy feature to have if you have several rooms in your home that have different floor materials or if there's a lot of clutter that must be cleared out regularly, such as toys, clothes, and books. The robot vacuum was also one of the best performers in my test, picking up debris on both carpets as well as hardwood floors on the first attempt. It can even remove wet spills however I would recommend cleaning them off using a clean cloth before bringing the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a top-quality robot vacuum and mop combo and more. It has an omni-rotating mop as well as a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets as well as hard floors. It's similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. The Omni X2 Omni is the most effective mopping performance of any robot we've tested thanks to its mop pads rotating to remove tough stains and a motor that creates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming is excellent as well and it enhances suction when it senses carpet to ensure it's doing an excellent job. It also has a huge battery that can last for weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as efficient as the ones we've seen on an ordinary robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a top-quality model that offers a number of features that aren't often found on robots in this price range. It can build detailed floor maps, identify various flooring types and is among the few that can automatically wash and dry the mop pads. These features are great however they can make the L10s more of a premium category. This might make it more expensive than what homeowners would need.
