It is important to be equipped with the right tools on hand when you are out in the field. This kit was created with this in mind, and includes all the hand tools essential for repairs on the field. All of the tools are made of steel with only a small amount of plastic to ensure they will stand up to use. The kit includes a zippered canvas coalcracker tool pouch, reamer, twisted awl cutting shears, the gimlet (5MM) sinue spool made of wood, a bottle of coalcracker oil and a set of illustrated instructions.

Repair Patches

If you've got holes or two in your gears, consider adding some adhesive patches to your rep kit. These heavy-duty patches come with high-performance adhesives that are applied to a tough polyurethane back that allows a tear to recover under pressure. Available in clear and colored options These patches offer durability against punctures, moisture, sunlight, Rep Kit saltwater and temperature extremes.

If your kit doesn't include any of the above items You may want to consider adding a water-proof Aquaseal wader sealant. This water-tight adhesive will stick to plastics, fabric, metals and Rep Kit more for a permanent fix. This is ideal for repairs to drysuits and also used in the field. Give the sealant at least 12 hours for it to cure before you can use your repaired equipment.

The most essential field fabric repair kit for silicone impregnated nylon tents, packs, rainwear and more. The kit comes with one Clean Tape repair patch as well as an swatch of sil-nylon. Also included is a 1/4 ounce Gore-Tex Sealant & Repair Adhesive & Brush for sealing. Apply patch to clean smooth surface. Make sure there is a minimum of 1/2 inch overlap. Remove the release paper and rub the adhesive side down using moderate finger pressure.
