Amazon Cancels iRobot Deals

Amazon has cancelled its planned acquisition of Roomba maker iRobot, saying the deal faces "undue and disproportionate regulatory hurdles." The company will pay iRobot the breakup cost of $94 million.

The acquisition was deemed be anti-competitive by the European Commission (the EU's executive arm, and also the top antitrust enforcer).
