The Q Revo is an excellent option for those looking for a mid-priced robot vacuum and mop. It's got a fantastic mopping capabilities, but is lacking some of the advanced features that are found in its more expensive sibling.

In tests it was able to eliminate pet hair and dry oats out of carpets with a medium-pile. But, unlike cheaper models, it doesn't employ LIDAR to help you map your home.

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top-rated robot vacuums. It is a powerful cleaner and plenty of features, including a self-emptying dirt compartment built into its charging base. The robot will learn your habits of cleaning, and suggest automated schedules that will give you a truly hands-free cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once everything is connected, you can start the automated cleaning functions with the push of a button. You can choose an overall clean that focuses on cleaning up larger debris like cereal and rice, or opt for two detailed maps of your area to ensure that your home is properly arranged.

This robot vacuum performs well both on bare floors and carpets with a low pile. It is able to take large objects and doesn't lose suction as rapidly as some other models, and it can even clean up pet hair without difficulty. It's not the best time with plush or high-pile carpet, but iRobot claims it will get better in the future with new models.

The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that concentrates on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted D-shaped design, which it hopes will allow it to be able to swaddle walls and furniture. It's an improvement over the hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are standard however we found it only marginally superior to circular models.

iRobot also claims the S9+ has a superior filtering system that stops tiny dust particles and allergens from recirculating in your home. It's a nice premise, however, we're not convinced that it's enough to justify the high price price.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of a combination of sensors to remember your home's layout and vSLAM technology to map your interior. This allows it to stay clear of obstacles, like staircases and other barriers, and also to clean your entire house in the most efficient way possible. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and set cleaning times, and establish virtual boundaries, so it can recognize areas that need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robotic that combines mopping and vacuuming. Its vac settings are as effective as those on more expensive models and its mopping feature is superior, as its spinning pads do a more impressive job of cleaning your floors than a stationary vibrating pad.

The only drawback is that it does not have an additional rubber brush for more thorough cleaning, but that's a small cost to pay if are looking for one of the top robots available. The robo-vac's dust tank larger than many of its competitors and takes only two or three cycles to fill it, even with the maximum dirt level.

As for the mopping system, I was impressed by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. Its two lowest mopping modes that are less aggressive than the high-powered ones, create minimal noise, allowing you to work or even watch TV without interruption. It will gently bump into furniture or walls, and then move on whenever it comes across one.

What sets the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to operate almost completely autonomously, requiring only a little for user intervention. The robo-vac has a multifunction dock that automatically transfers physical trash to the hidden bin, as well as washes and drys the mop pads, and refills its clean water tank. The app is capable of alerting you when something is in need of attention, for example, the water tank that is running out of clean or a scheduled cleaning session that was cancelled because of a full dust bin.

You can also combine or create actual rooms in order to alter the way Q Revo handles your home. The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum combo with all the features you can want. It has the ability to rotate mops and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. It is similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also has an auto-cleaning base station that automatically empties and washes the mop pads, ensuring that they remain them clean and best robot mop only ready for use again. It also has a sensor that recognizes obstacles better, allowing it to avoid falling on furniture and other objects.

The biggest difference over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this model has a sleeker, more modern design thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (Best vacuum mop combo robot known for its Bang & Olufsen products). However the robot as well as its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

The X2 Omni also has a more intuitive voice assistant and an app that is functional even when you're at home. It also has a smart routing feature that allows it to clean specific areas or rooms of your home, instead of following a predetermined route.

The X2 Omni has the top mopping performance of any robot we've tested, because of its mop pads rotating to clean tough stains away and a motor that creates plenty of downward pressure. The vacuuming capabilities are also top-notch, and it boosts suction when it detects carpets to ensure thorough cleaning. It is equipped with a large, rechargeable battery that lasts up to seven days. The mopping feature of the robot is also powerful.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a high-end robot vacuum and mop that comes with a variety of convenience features that you aren't likely to find on robots at this price range. It can build detailed floor maps, identify different types of flooring and is among the few robots that automatically wash and dry its mop pads. These are nice features however they can place the L10s in the premium category. This might make it more expensive than what homeowners would need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It is tall and slim with a white finish accented with silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine has an enormous bumper that shields the vacuum cleaner and furniture when you are moving around your home. Sensors are concealed behind the front panel, which helps the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

The L10s Ultra is an efficient vacuum cleaner, removing 98.4 percent of debris from our test on hard floors, and getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice staining. Its mops also do a great job in removing 98.4% debris from our tile, carpet and wood tests. It wasn't as effective at removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oats from the carpet.
